‘FEARLESS ENGLAND HUNGRY FOR EUROS’
Harry Kane cannot wait to get to his first major tournament and make an impact with a young and fearless England side.
Manager Roy Hodgson has placed plenty of faith in youth and seems to be getting the most out of their talent.
England have recently secured friendly wins over tournament hosts France and world champions Germany, with Kane excelling in the 3-2 victory in Berlin. Now the 22-year-old is eyeing more upsets this summer and he believes the squad’s relative lack of experience will help rather than hinder England’s chances. “It probably won’t sink in until we get out there and it all starts, but it’s a great feeling to be part of it,” Kane said ahead of today’s friendly against Turkey. “The whole team are the same, very excited. Now the season is over, we’re itching to get out there and get going.
“[For] a lot of us, it’s our first major tournament. There’s no real fear, we are not scared to play our football. Throughout the whole international year we’ve been playing well, we’ve been going out and trying to play good football.
“We’re very excited about the tournament and we’ve got no fear.
“We’ll go out, express ourselves and see where that takes us.”
