Lukaku knows where his fu­ture lies amid Chelsea talk

Romelu Lukaku says he al­ready knows which club he will join in the sum­mer, with Chelsea the favourites to re-sign the Bel­gian striker.

The 23-year-old has made it clear that he wants to leave Ever­ton and had sug­gested that it would be to play for a club reg­u­larly com­pet­ing in the Cham­pi­ons League.

De­spite Chelsea miss­ing out on any Euro­pean foot­ball, the Blues are set to re­build un­der new man­ager An­to­nio Conte and Lukaku is a tar­get for the Ital­ian.

Paris Saint-Ger­main and Juventus are also be­lieved to have en­quired about the pow­er­ful striker who scored 25 goals in all com­pe­ti­tions last sea­son.

“In my mind I’ve al­ready taken a de­ci­sion about my fu­ture. We will see,” said Lukaku.

When pushed on whether he would re­turn to Chelsea, he added: “We’ll see. I keep it for me.

“A lot of clubs are in­ter­ested, some of which are al­ready very con­crete for five years.”

Lukaku also stressed that he would like to re­main in Eng­land, but re­fused to rule out a move abroad.

Talk­ing to Bel­gian me­dia, he said: “It’s true the English com­pe­ti­tion suits me per­fectly, but there are plenty of other beau­ti­ful clubs.”

Ever­ton are ex­pected to de­mand a fee of $94 mil­lion for the striker.
