Lukaku knows where his future lies amid Chelsea talk
Romelu Lukaku says he already knows which club he will join in the summer, with Chelsea the favourites to re-sign the Belgian striker.
The 23-year-old has made it clear that he wants to leave Everton and had suggested that it would be to play for a club regularly competing in the Champions League.
Despite Chelsea missing out on any European football, the Blues are set to rebuild under new manager Antonio Conte and Lukaku is a target for the Italian.
Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also believed to have enquired about the powerful striker who scored 25 goals in all competitions last season.
“In my mind I’ve already taken a decision about my future. We will see,” said Lukaku.
When pushed on whether he would return to Chelsea, he added: “We’ll see. I keep it for me.
“A lot of clubs are interested, some of which are already very concrete for five years.”
Lukaku also stressed that he would like to remain in England, but refused to rule out a move abroad.
Talking to Belgian media, he said: “It’s true the English competition suits me perfectly, but there are plenty of other beautiful clubs.”
Everton are expected to demand a fee of $94 million for the striker.
