In response to the letter ‘Why are random cars allowed to enter our building’ (May 19), I’m a security guard in The Greens and I want to tell that person the reason is because people use car rental cars and after two to three months you come with another car and you didn’t inform security because it’s none of his business, but when a problem occurs you blame Security. There are more than 600 parking slots in each and every building I look after and I look after six building and each building has four entries and four exits. Now tell how many cars? My friend looks after three towers and each tower has 34 to 26 floors, total parking slots is 7,822. How can he master all these cars and some residents have more than two cars? We are being overworked and we are being poorly paid and nobody cares about security issues and security guards. We are treated like robots. Zulf Dubai I think you have nothing to lose to ask and it’s interesting to know why. It will give you an opportunity to show them the advantages of your age and they will see that you are motivated! Good luck in your search! Caroline Dubai 3. Animals that have over generations been breed in captivity and also wouldn’t survive, should go where? 4. Often if there is a safe place to put an animal back in the wild it is already populated, so is it right to just drop another animal into another’s territory? It’s never as simple as people think it is. It maybe best to leave it to the professionals to care for these animals and support them in their work. Look at the positives, the safari is many many times better than the old zoo. Ben Dubai
