FAN-TASTIC FACTS ABOUT SUPERCAR
The McLaren F1 is regarded as one of the greatest supercars ever made - and you can now get your hands on one for a cool $10-$15 million. At the end of April, McLaren announced that chassis #069 - one of the very last produced - is up for sale and in factory condition with less than 2,800 miles covered from new. Between 1993 and 1998 only 64 F1 road cars were produced, making it one of the rarest and most desired models among collectors. During 1998, only six examples of the original McLaren F1 were completed, and chassis #069 was the 60th model overall to be hand built in McLaren’s Woking headquarters. It is presented in Carbon Black complimented by subtle detailing throughout, including 17-inch centrelocking magnesium wheels. The McLaren F1 held the world record for fastest production car with a top speed of 389kph before being overtaken by the Bugatti Veyron in 2005. Maybe it’s time to speak to your bank manager.
