If only banks would wait as long as us for their cash

7 Days in Dubai - - DEAR 7 DAYS -

After waiting 12 days for an international money transfer coming from a UK reputable bank (if there is such a thing) to our local account in Dubai, we have been left wondering, where has our money gone! Our bank in Dubai, for several days is ‘investigating’ and have been given every document requested. But still nothing. You try and find someone to be accountable and you are pushed from one number to another. Never reaching the right person. Central Bank may be the regulator of such financial institutions but can you actually get hold of them to discuss the matter? No, several calls and no call backs and a few emails with no reply, all through their guided communication channels! So you are left with no idea of who to see or complain to. However, miss a credit card payment or an instalment and you are bombarded with dozens of calls and threatened with police cases. Do they actually care about anyone but themselves? No they don’t. Sand surfing shark Dubai not permitted. Also the watchman rooms and the party hall have been rented out which I believe is illegal. I really want the company to fix these problems but despite several tenant complains they haven’t done anything. The best way to make them fix things will be to raise a complaint and then am sure they will get their act right. I really don’t know which departments to contact to seek help, would appreciate if other readers here who know could guide me. Need help Dubai your garbage and I suggest to impose fines on those who leave their garbage and trash behind. Hani Ghibeh Dubai
