Reader: Bank’s job loss pay scheme failed to pay up

As a cus­tomer of a bank, I had been pay­ing 10dhs a month for their job loss scheme, which in­forms the cus­tomer that if they were to lose their jobs the bank would pay them for a pe­riod of three months depend­ing on what they earned, as of the April 1 2016. I was made re­dun­dant and I de­cided to file for the claim. The bank told me to con­tact a life in­sur­ance com­pany that was re­spon­si­ble for pay­ing out the cus­tomers and the bank is just a part­ner.
