Dubai is aiming to attract one million cruise ship passengers by 2020, DP World has said. Chairman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem spoke about the target during a meeting discussing the future of Mina Rashid port. Dubai is expecting 155 vessel calls and 650,000 in the 2016-17 season, up from 373,000 in the 2014-15 season. “We are committed to investing in the transformation of Mina Rashid into the cruise destination of choice for cruise liners”, he said.
