Actor denies charges
US actor Mark Salling has pleaded not guilty to pornography charges. The Glee star was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of child pornography last month but appeared in court to deny the allegations made against him. US Magistrate Judge Rozella A Oliver has ruled that Salling - who is best known for playing Puck in the musical television series - can be released on bail if he posts $150,000, which is to include $100,000 of his own money. During his appearance in court, the 33-year-old actor was given a July date for his trial. The court also ordered Salling to wear a device so he could be located at any time and his passport was surrendered. He has been charged with obtaining a pornographic still image and video of young girls and for possessing two other videos featuring young girls.
