SOUTH AFRICA AGREE TO DAY-NIGHT TEST

South Africa have con­firmed they will play a day-night Test against Aus­tralia at the Ade­laide Oval from Novem­ber 24. South African play­ers had been re­luc­tant to play day-night cricket af­ter in­for­mal feed­back from Aus­tralian play­ers who had is­sues with the pink ball’s vis­i­bil­ity and dura­bil­ity in the first ever day-night Test in Ade­laide last year against New Zealand. How­ever, they have now agreed and will play a two-day tour match in Ade­laide un­der lights as part of their prepa­ra­tions for the Test. Mean­while, South Africa beat Aus­tralia by 47 runs in the third match of the one-day tri-series in the West Indies.
