Dubai-based Peru­vian res­tau­rant COYA dis­trib­uted 140 hand-pre­pared meals on Satur­day to mark Ra­madan. The pro­ject will con­tinue on each Tues­day un­til the end of the month and team mem­bers will be pre­par­ing, pack­ing and hand de­liv­er­ing 1,173 meals across eight smaller labour camps in Al Quoz dur­ing Ra­madan. “We are tremen­dously ex­cited for the op­por­tu­nity to em­bark on this spe­cial new jour­ney of shar­ing and self-dis­cov­ery this year,” said Cedric Tous­saint, Di­rec­tor of Oper­a­tions, COYA Dubai. “We feel that en­gag­ing our com­mu­nity and con­tin­u­ing to sup­port ini­tia­tives like this is ex­tremely im­por­tant not only dur­ing the Holy Month of Ra­madan but all year round. Be­ing able to share the joy of one of the old­est tra­di­tions.”
