Make reckless drivers do community service

7 Days in Dubai - - GLOBAL NEWS -

I am leaving Dubai after seven years, during which I’ve seen all manner of reckless driving: people who are not protecting their kids in the car, using the phone, eating, putting on make up, the list goes on - and it’s still happening. I suggest that the government make people do community service when a fine is normally given. Frequent violators need to undergo further testing, watch a movie on traffic accidents (and the consequence) and speak with people who have been affected by accidents. My point is if that cannot teach people a lesson or two then they should have their licence revoked permanently. Hard measures yes but it’s scary on our roads. Take care of yourself and others out there, and hopefully the Dubai roads will be a good place to be on. Blackie Dubai
