Drivers: think about who is really in the wrong…

7 Days in Dubai - - PUZZLES -

I would like to point to some of the drivers who show anger on the roads, putting their lives as well as others at risk. This for the lady driver driving a Maxima on the road going towards Port Rashid at about 4pm on Monday. Coming from Trade Centre towards Sana taking left towards Port Rashid there is third lane marked as going straight as well as left, which was changed some time back. The lady seemed to be unaware of that and got irritated when I took left from the third lane, To my surprise she kept honking and driving recklessly in front of me. Next time if you think the other person was wrong just stop the car at the side and clear the doubt instead of getting angry and putting others at risk. So for next time if you think somebody did wrong just wait for their apology and if they don’t apologise just think again whether you were wrong, what’s the point of spoiling someone’s day. Responsible driver Dubai Day is mostly an American thing (and is only noted in 17 countries worldwide), so really, it’s not just here that it is not observed. You should celebrate it at home, with your family, if it means so much to you.. Just a suggestion, since you’re so bothered about it. So, now next year, don’t get too excited waking up on the Sunday. Xavier Dubai

I empathise with the father, whose child’s nursery did not celebrate Father’s Day. I know this is not the case with all nurseries in Dubai. Our nursery celebrated with stories about the fathers. We made cards, presents and decorated cakes. We truly believe in the importance of family, especially here in Dubai, where more often the children do not see extended family regularly. LL Dubai risk procedures. How can they be ‘marketed’ in such a way? Who monitors these businesses from making such claims? Very very worrying. Disturbed D Dubai
