Gold prices could hit a threeyear high by the end of this year as investors plough their cash into reliable options. Hedge funds boosted their bets on price gains for bullion to an all-time high just two days before UK voters took to the polls, said Bloomberg. Gold futures climbed to a two-year high after the referendum, and Bloomberg reported that prices could jump another 7.7 per cent by the end of the year. Prices could reach as high as $1,424 by the end of 2016, according to the median of 12 forecasts in a survey of analysts and traders from New York to London.
