‘Shocked at aggressive nature of drivers in Sharjah’

7 Days in Dubai - - DEAR 7 DAYS... -

In response to the story ‘Family is shattered by fatal second’, I recently got a job in Sharjah after living many years in Abu Dhabi. I was shocked with the attitude of drivers in Sharjah. It’s unbelievable how impatient and uncivilised the majority of drivers are. I just can’t describe the hostility. RIP Kaavya. Nawaf AG Sharjah held it for her husband who was “on the way”. I told her this was not only the dumbest thing I have heard, it was also unfair and absolutely INSANE!!! With the number of rounds I had already taken looking for parking here was an available spot clearly open except for the insensitive LOUD and ARROGANT woman who proceeded to shout at the top of her voice when I asked her to move. In the end her shouting got the attention of passers-by and her arrogant husband came and took the parking spot after a good 10 minutes and proceeded to argue saying “who are you to talk to my wife?” I could not believe the utter guts these two had!!!! I have taken a picture of the car would it be fair to submit this to the police? This is an absolute INSENSITIVE and ARROGANT thing to do by one human being to another with the lack of parking space as it is in Abu Dhabi! Reuben Abu Dhabi
