Why is hard work never rewarded with pay rise?
I’ve worked in a bank for many years and one major issue I have found is salary inequalities, and gaps in salary increments, and providing bonuses. For many of the staff working from many years the salary has been not increased. For some people the salary is increased and for others it is not increased. Only the people who are in the good books of the management get salary increment, and get good bonus. Some staff work very hard and add value to the bank yet they continue to get less salary and bonus and the people who are near and dear to management get very good salary even though they are not working well. The senior most management has put no efforts to provide justice on the issue. A strict inspection needs to be arranged to find out the above said irregularities, the bank conducts a feedback survey by an outside company, but the survey is useless. Many people have reported issues and no action is taken, the survey conducted. I would like to escalate this to proper government official to take corrective action. Ibrahim Dubai
