Entire fleet of cars seem to be missing indicators

7 Days in Dubai - - DEAR 7DAYS -

Can we please raise awareness towards a massively important safety issue on the roads of UAE? An entire fleet of vehicles seems to have been unleashed on our roads without a key safety component fitted - the turn signal. A turn signal is an extremely important

Dear Evelyn, while I don’t want to see an animal suffer it is no surprise that people were reluctant to help an injured stray. I own a dog and can vouch for just how expensive it is to get veterinary care. Every time I take my dog to the vet, it costs the equivalent of dinner at a nice restaurant for a check over and a couple of pills. I pay as he is part of my family. However, anyone seeing an injured animal in the street will know that, ultimately, they will be the ones facing a huge bill for treatment. Under such circumstances, is it so strange that they turn a blind eye? Particularly, if the animal is in an area where incomes are low? I know there are voluntary organisations that could help but the vet still needs paying and I doubt the groups can help every stray.
