In reference to the letter ‘Appeal to landlord and agent falls on deaf ears’ (Sept 5), don’t do anything until you have a contract in hand. It sounds a little dodgy if you’re not getting a response from anyone – and contacting RERA, you’ll be able to confirm that the Real Estate agent does in fact exist, and has the authority to rent out the property. Emma UAE your dilemma on behalf of TGLC (The Good Landlord Collective) a shadow underground organisation that look after their tenants...... BTW possibly you need to pressure your bank to release this money a bit more there should be no reason they won’t unless you’ve locked them into a long-term maturity account.... PS Rents are coming down so 145 for a one bed is far too high. Mr Ricketts Dubai
