GONGS, GAGS AND GLAMOUR AT THE EMMYS

Gongs, gags and glamour for stars of the small screen

7 Days in Dubai - - FRONT PAGE -

The hottest frocks and best-known faces on the small screen came out in force for the 68th annual Emmy Primetime Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, California. The People V. OJ Simpson was the big winner of the night, taking home five awards. Game of Thrones took home three Emmys- raising the GoT Emmy-count up to a record high of 38 for a fiction series, topping Frasier’s existing record of 37. Julia Louis-Dreyfus also cracked a new record winning her fifth consecutive Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, in political comedy, Veep. Here are some of the highlights of the star-studded evening.

KRISTEN BELL

This flowing floral number is elegant and has just the right amount of dazzle for the Emmys. Bad Moms star Kristen keeps the accessories simple, letting the Zuhair Murad dress shine.

CONSTANCE ZIMMER

Where to begin? The harsh hairstyle on the overly girly dress; the hot pink and white makes it juvenile. While we love the Unreal star, this just doesn’t suit her at all. Ick.
