Pakistan seek clean sweep
Pakistan will attempt to secure a 3-0 series victory when they play the West Indies tonight in Abu Dhabi (8pm UAE time). The hosts have already won the Twenty20 series thanks to two comfortable wins in Dubai and will now aim to make it a clean sweep. With the Windies missing a number of players who helped them win the World T20 – including Chris Gayle, Andre Russell and Darren Sammy – Pakistan have rarely been troubled. They won by nine wickets in the first game then secured a 16-run win in the second, with Sohail Tanvir and Hasan Ali claiming three wickets apiece. However, it has been leftarm spinner Imad Wasim (right) who has impressed the most, claiming six wickets in the two matches at an average of 5.33. The T20 series will be followed by three one-day internationals, the first of which will be played in Sharjah on Friday.
