“When my son climbed up to the school bus I noticed many children sitting without seat-belts on. I drew this to the attention of the bus driver. He seemed bewildered, so I pointed out a child who was sitting without his seat-belt on and his reply was – ‘Oh he’s a big boy now, he doesn’t have to wear a seat-belt anymore’. And my child came home later in the day in tears saying that he was teased by everybody on the bus for being a nerd by putting his seat-belt on. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!!”

“Where is now that ‘beautiful mind’ from few weeks ago, vehement demanding that government should make mandatory transportation by school bus for children… because it’s more safe.”

“No seat belts on my daughter’s school bus. Prices doubled last year with the explanation that seat belt would be fitted, but no!”

“In none of the school buses children wear seat belts and some times children can be seen playing or roaming inside the bus.”

“If parents don’t teach this need for seat belts, I really don’t see how they can expect a bus driver with 40+ children to manage it”

“And we are surprised by this why when parents don’t make them wear seatbelts in their own cars?”
