Ja­son Day has been forced to with­draw from the World Cup of Golf and the Aus­tralian Open due to in­jury. The world No. 1 will miss the two events in his home­land af­ter strain­ing a lig­a­ment in his lower back to­wards the end of the PGA Tour sea­son, which forced him to miss the Tour Cham­pi­onship. “I re­gret that I will be un­able to come home to Aus­tralian this year,” said Day.
