Wi-fi roll out for limo taxis

Free wi-fi has been in­tro­duced across the Dubai Taxi Cor­po­ra­tion’s black limou­sine fleet. The move is part of a project that will even­tu­ally see all pub­lic taxis equipped with the tech­nol­ogy. Dr Yousef Mo­hammed Al Ali, CEO of Dubai Taxi Cor­po­ra­tion (DTC), said the move is be­ing aimed at busi­ness trav­ellers and tourists in par­tic­u­lar. He said: “The ser­vice is part of the RTA’s en­deav­ours to open new hori­zons and set new trends in of­fer­ing high-qual­ity ser­vices. It repli­cates the pol­icy of the DTC in of­fer­ing ser­vices be­fit­ting and en­hanc­ing the tourist cre­den­tials of Dubai, ful­fill­ing the needs of all res­i­dents and vis­i­tors of the emi­rate.”
