PIETERSEN FOUN­DA­TION RE­TURN­ING TO DUBAI

For­mer Eng­land bats­man Kevin Pietersen launched a new foun­da­tion last year, in which five teams of un­der­priv­i­leged teenagers from around the world trav­elled to Dubai for a 10-day cricket and ed­u­ca­tion camp.The KP24 Foun­da­tion’s Sprite 24/7 Pro­ject has now been sup­ported by Al Na­booda In­sur­ance Bro­kers who are se­lect­ing play­ers from last year’s pro­ject to re­turn to Dubai for a schol­ar­ship pro­gramme. This will in­clude ev­ery­thing from T20 mas­ter­classes with Pietersen to fit­ness con­di­tion­ing and me­dia train­ing. There will also be an op­por­tu­nity to top up their coach­ing skills. Pietersen said: “I have heard so many amaz­ing re­ports back from all the dif­fer­ent coun­tries that took part. “I can’t wait to get out to Dubai and de­liver mas­ter­classes for these guys and help them fur­ther.”
