Emi­rates has com­pleted an $11 mil­lion makeover of its Busi­ness Class lounge at Con­course B of Dubai In­ter­na­tional Air­port. The project took two years to com­plete and fea­tures food and bev­er­age con­cepts, as well as a health hub. Sam­sung phones dom­i­nated the UAE mo­bile phone mar­ket in the sec­ond quar­ter of the year de­spite the Galaxy Note 7 de­ba­cle. Ac­cord­ing to the Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions Reg­u­la­tory Au­thor­ity ( TRA) 33.3 per cent of all hand­sets regis­tered in the UAE net­works dur­ing Q2 were man­u­fac­tured by Sam­sung. The sec­ond most pop­u­lar brand was Nokia ac­count­ing for 27 per cent fol­lowed by Ap­ple at 13.6 per cent and Black­Berry reg­is­ter­ing 1.8 per cent of the phones used.
