The Harlem Globetrotters have been going for 90 years, and they’re celebrating in Dubai with a performance at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium tomorrow evening. While in town, they have also visited schools to address the issue of bullying. Team member, Handles Frankline, said: “We pride ourselves on not only being great basketball players, but also great role models for kids. “So we try not only to captivate them with the basketball, but more importantly give them a positive message they can take with them.” The group taught pupils about the ABCs of bullying. Cheese Chisholm (pictured right) said: “We talk to them about the ABCs of bullying – A stands for action, B for bravery and C for compassion.” TNT Maddox added: “If we can nip that in the bud from a young age, we can put a dent in it. “So we’ve been doing that all around the world and it has been working really well.”
