Franchise concept part of big plans
Coffee Planet has introduced a new franchising plan, allowing shops around the world to carry the brand in a different format.
The firm’s coffees will be available in cafe, kiosk, cart and vending format.
The franchising concept is part of Coffee Planet’s global expansion plan, so people can experience 100 per cent Arabica coffee.
Current franchise outlets are located in the UAE, Qatar, Pakistan and Malaysia. Coffee Planet’s UAE factory, which is located in Jebel Ali, roasts between 70 and 100 tonnes per month, which is sent to hotels, restaurants and super- By Sarwat Nasir markets in 10 countries in the Middle East and Asia, 7DAYS reported earlier in June. The new plan is to increase global presence with franchise partners who want people to experience 100 per cent Arabica specialty coffees with wholesome food. Robert Jones, Managing Director of Coffee Planet, said: “The launch of our new franchise concept marks a milestone achievement, as we continue to update areas of the business as part of our wider rebranding strategy.

The cafe design features a tribute to the UAE’s most iconic buildings, while other inspiration has been taken from the “crop-to-cup ethos of the brand with warm, earthy tones, exposed brick, brass, black tiling and wood finishes”.
