Fran­chise con­cept part of big plans

Cof­fee Planet has in­tro­duced a new fran­chis­ing plan, al­low­ing shops around the world to carry the brand in a dif­fer­ent for­mat.

The firm’s cof­fees will be avail­able in cafe, kiosk, cart and vend­ing for­mat.

The fran­chis­ing con­cept is part of Cof­fee Planet’s global ex­pan­sion plan, so peo­ple can ex­pe­ri­ence 100 per cent Ara­bica cof­fee.

Cur­rent fran­chise out­lets are lo­cated in the UAE, Qatar, Pak­istan and Malaysia. Cof­fee Planet’s UAE fac­tory, which is lo­cated in Jebel Ali, roasts be­tween 70 and 100 tonnes per month, which is sent to ho­tels, restau­rants and su­per- By Sar­wat Nasir mar­kets in 10 coun­tries in the Mid­dle East and Asia, 7DAYS re­ported ear­lier in June. The new plan is to in­crease global pres­ence with fran­chise part­ners who want peo­ple to ex­pe­ri­ence 100 per cent Ara­bica spe­cialty cof­fees with whole­some food. Robert Jones, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor of Cof­fee Planet, said: “The launch of our new fran­chise con­cept marks a mile­stone achieve­ment, as we con­tinue to up­date ar­eas of the busi­ness as part of our wider re­brand­ing strat­egy.

“We have ded­i­cated sig­nif­i­cant time and in­vest­ment to en­hance our abil­ity to de­liver freshly roasted, 100 per cent Ara­bica spe­cialty cof­fee to ev­ery­one around the world and our im­proved fran­chise model is aligned to this vi­sion.

The cafe de­sign fea­tures a trib­ute to the UAE’s most iconic build­ings, while other in­spi­ra­tion has been taken from the “crop-to-cup ethos of the brand with warm, earthy tones, ex­posed brick, brass, black tiling and wood fin­ishes”.
