Max Verstappen’s drive at the rain-hit Brazilian Grand Prix has earned the teenager plenty of plaudits. The Red Bull driver, who was forced to change from the intermediate tyres to extreme wet because of the rain, moved from 14th place to third in the space of just 12 laps. Reflecting on the podium finish in Sunday’s race, Red Bull chief Christian Horner said: “Well, they don’t get much better than that. “I think we witnessed something special. “His recovery was amazing. That was one of the best drives I’ve seen in F1.” Mercedes boss Toto Wolff was equally impressed. He said: “It was the Verstappen show. Really unbelievable driving, great entertainment. Physics are being redefined.”
