Dubai opens Etihad Museum

DUBAI HAS A new cultural landmark with the opening of The Etihad Museum next to Union House. The museum honours the UAE’s seven founders, features a large painting by Emirati artist Abdul Qader Al Rais and displays historical artefacts, such as the ancient khanjar of HH Sheikh Amar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman. Alongside 3,000 political, social and historical books in the Museum Library is a lower floor café.
