Gulf Air’s first Dreamliner takes off
GULF AIR HAS RECEIVED its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, conducted a fly past at the Bahrain Grand Prix in the airline’s new livery and displayed its business class seat at ATM Dubai.
The new aircraft, containing 26 Falcon Gold Class seats and 256 economy seats, will serve double-daily London Heathrow services from June 15. Five B787-9s are due to be delivered this year, which will be followed by two at the end of 2019 and three by the end of 2020. New destinations this summer include: • Bangalore (May 1) • Alexandria ( June 10) • Casablanca ( June 11) • Baku ( June 12) • Abha and Tabuk ( June 15) • Calicut ( June 15) • Sharm El Sheikh ( June 16)
