Re­gional cre­ativ­ity cel­e­brated at the Lynx

Records were bro­ken once again as the Mad­i­nat Jumeirah played host to the dra­matic fi­nale of the Dubai Lynx In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of Cre­ativ­ity.

For the first time since the Lynx was launched, a sin­gle agency won ‘Agency of the Year’ and ‘Net­work of the Year’ in the same year that its chair­man and CEO was named ‘Ad­ver­tis­ing Per­son of the Year’. That agency was Memac Ogilvy. It was also only the sec­ond time a sin­gle agency had won both ti­tles at the same awards cer­e­mony. Y&R had achieved the same feat in 2011.

A to­tal of 1,854 guests at­tended the event, with a to­tal of 207 awards handed out on the night.
