FP7/DXB scores two ma­jor ad­ver­tis­ing ac­counts,

FP7/DXB has won the cre­ative ad­ver­tis­ing brief for the leisure and en­ter­tain­ment arm of the Ma­jid Al Fut­taim group of com­pa­nies.

The win fol­lows a com­pet­i­tive pitch that be­gan in May and in­cluded a num­ber of agen­cies, in­clud­ing in­cum­bent Im­pact BBDO.

Ef­fec­tive from 1 Novem­ber, the agency will over­see through-the-line com­muni- cations for Ma­jid Al Fut­taim Leisure & En­ter­tain­ment across its four brands: Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, i-FLY, and Lit­tle Ex­plor­ers.

Dis­cussing the win, Sasan Saeidi, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of FP7/UAE, said: “The team at Ma­jid Al Fut­taim Leisure & En­ter­tain­ment has been ex­tremely s up­port­ive through­out the pitch process. They are great mar­keters that are set with what they want to achieve. It is up to us now as their new com­mu­ni­ca­tion part­ners to help them cre­ate new and in­no­va­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tions that gets them there. The en­ter­tain­ment and leisure business is a tough in­dus­try and you con­stantly need to rein­vent your­self and be able to have a fresh story and of­fer­ing. We are ex­cited more than ever to support th­ese fan­tas­tic brands grow even more.”

FP7/DXB has also won the mar­ket­ing and ad­ver­tis­ing re­mit ac­count for Emi­rates Is­lamic, one of the lead­ing Is­lamic fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions in the UAE and a sub­sidiary of Emi­rates the NBD Group.

The pitch process was ini­ti­ated in Jan­uary and in­cluded sev­eral multi­na­tional ad agen­cies. FP7/DXB will be re­spon­si­ble for the throughthe- line com­mu­ni­ca­tion for Emi­rates Is­lamic across its new brand and prod­uct plat­forms.
