LIA: Bur­nett, Im­pact BBDO shine

Leo Bur­nett MENA’s cam­paign for du Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions has been awarded two Golds at the London In­ter­na­tional Awards 2014. The agency’s cam­paign com­pris­ing ‘Too de­press­ing’, ‘Too Com­pli­cated’, ‘Too Scary’ and ‘Too Bor­ing’ en­tries was awarded a Gold in the TV/Cin­ema/ On­line Films cat­e­gory. The sin­gle ‘Too Com­pli­cated’ won a Gold for Copy­writ­ing.

Im­pact BBDO’s met­als were in the Ra­dio and Audio com­pe­ti­tion. In the Bank­ing/ Fi­nan­cial/ In­surance sub- cat­e­gory, the en­try ‘ Pe­dro’ for client Com­mer­cial In­surance was awarded Gold, while ‘Le­Beau’ won the agency a Bronze award. The cam­paign com­pris­ing th­ese two ra­dio spots and a third ti­tled ‘Timmy’ won a Sil­ver.

In the Di­rec­tion sub-cat­e­gory, ‘Le­Beau’ and ‘Pe­dro’ en­tries won a Bronze each. ‘Pe­dro’ also earned the agency a Bronze for scriptwrit­ing. The en­try and ‘Le­Beau’ won a Sil­ver each in Sound De­sign, while ‘Timmy’ won Bronze.
