Cheil wins Papa Mur­phy’s brief

MAM Food Co has named Cheil MENA as the agency of record for the Amer­i­can pizza brand Papa Mur­phy’s.

The agency will pro­vide strate­gic and cre­ative ser­vices for the chain in­clud­ing brand­ing, de­sign and ad­ver­tis­ing in the UAE.

As re­gional fran­chisee hold­ers of Papa Mur­phy’s, MAM Food Co op­er­ates 20 restau­rants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and plans to add an­other seven by the end of 2016.

Yasser Ab­del Azim, vice pres­i­dent of MAM Food Co, said: “Cheil came to the ta­ble with big ideas that will un­der­pin Papa Mur­phy’s fu­ture growth in the coun­try and soon in the re­gion. We were look­ing for an agency that has the abil­ity to com­bine high-level strate­gic think­ing with a very prac­ti­cal, ef­fec­tive­ness-fo­cused ap­proach.
