Hug wins HMD Global dig­i­tal brief

Hug Dig­i­tal has signed with HMD Global, the exclusive li­censee of the Nokia brand for mo­bile phones and tablets, as its dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions agency across so­cial, com­mu­nity man­age­ment, cre­ative and lis­ten­ing ser­vices.

Hug will han­dle the brand’s so­cial as­sets while pro­vid­ing con­tent cre­ation, com­mu­nity man­age­ment, full- fledged dig­i­tal cam­paigns, re­port­ing, re­search and web lis­ten­ing.

“Nokia is a truly iconic, glob­ally rec­og­nized and trusted brand. We are proud and hon­ored to be unit­ing with HMD Global as their com­mu­ni­ca­tion part­ner across MENA as it be­gins this ex­cit­ing new chap­ter for Noki-branded mo­bile phones and tablets,” said Hus­sein M. Da­jani, Hug’s chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer.

HMD Global is work­ing on plans which in­clude hav­ing all fu­ture Nokia-branded smart­phones and tablets run on the An­droid op­er­a­tion sys­tem.
