Crys­talised flow­ers could be the next big thing to hit ho­tels and patis­series across the Mid­dle East.

That is if Sarah Hughes from Eat My Flow­ers gets her way. She was speak­ing to Cater­ing News Mid­dle East at Gul­food where she re­vealed that her com­pany is tar­get­ing the re­gion with their unique prod­uct range - which, she says, has al­ready been suc­cess­ful in the UK.

"We are very much tar­get­ing the ho­tel patis­serie mar­ket in Dubai be­cause that’s the mar­ket we sup­ply in the UK – mainly in Lon­don, ho­tels like the Bar­clay and The Dorch­ester," she said.

"We are go­ing to con­tinue the crys­talised ed­i­ble flower range, that is some­thing we have found is still pop­u­lar in the ho­tel mar­ket."
