New zealand firm dou­bles down on SUC­CESS at Gul­food

The dairy prod­uct mar­ket in the Mid­dle East­ern re­gion has wit­nessed ex­tra­or­di­nary growth in the last num­ber of years. At the spear­head of that move­ment is New Zealand dairy prod­uct com­pany Open Coun­try.

Cater­ing News Mid­dle East had a chat with Open Coun­try’s CEO Steve Koeke­moer (pic­tured right) at the event.

“We have a lot of in­ter­est from the shows, we are look­ing at the Mid­dle East and North Africa is 25% of our sales when it was sin­gle dig­its just a few years ago,” he said.

“This is our third year in a row at Gul­food and we have been grow­ing our share of the mar­ket here in the re­gion ev­ery year since.”
