3. In­gre­di­ents 10 slices day-old white bread, crusts re­moved,

halved di­ag­o­nally and but­tered 90g dark choco­late, chopped 3 large eggs, lightly beaten 500ml milk 10 tsp brown sugar, plus ex­tra for sprin­kling 2 tsp vanilla essence 1 pun­net fresh blue­ber­ries ic­ing sugar or cocoa, for dust­ing cream or cus­tard, to serve Method: 1. Ar­range bread an oven­proof dish, sprin­kling choco­late in be­tween pieces as you place them. Mix to­gether eggs, milk, brown sugar and vanilla essence. Pour over bread then scat­ter over blue­ber­ries and re­main­ing choco­late. Sprin­kle lib­er­ally with ex­tra sugar. Leave to stand for 30 min­utes. Pre­heat oven to 170°C. Bake for about an hour or un­til golden brown and set. Dust with ic­ing sugar or cocoa and serve hot with cream or cus­tard.
