Finding a way to help
I am always amazed by the passion and commitment that ‘ordinary’ people covered in the ‘Making a Difference’ stories have towards a cause and how this results in them leading extraordinary lives.
For example, in this week’s feature (‘A lifeline for Zambia’, July 19), you profile Helen Allen – a British woman who leaves the comfort of her home to work in HIV/Aids-ravaged Zambia.
What impressed me the most about her was that, in spite the fact that she is a mother of two small kids, she has not let her family responsibilities get in the way of helping people.
