Try to un-worry
When someone tells you not to worry, it’s still difficult not to. Instead, make a conscious effort to follow where your worried thoughts lead – often to the unrealistic worst-case scenario. Resolve either to let whatever it is that’s gnawing away at you off the hook because the worst your mind can create probably won’t happen or worry deliberately and ferociously for the next 10 minutes to get it off your chest or mind, and then let it go.
