Bak­ing time: 40 mins In­gre­di­ents 2 tbsp olive oil 1 onion, roughly chopped 1 gar­lic clove, roughly chopped 500g minced beef 1 slice white bread, crum­bled 1kg pota­toes, peeled, boiled in salted wa­ter and mashed 2 tbsp but­ter 1 egg pinch nut­meg Method 1. Pre­heat oven to 180°C and grease a medium-sized oven­proof dish. Heat olive oil and fry onion and gar­lic for a few min­utes. Add mince, sea­son with salt and pep­per and fry un­til cooked. Add bread­crumbs and stir. Spoon into pre­pared dish. Mean­while, mix mashed potato with but­ter, egg, nut­meg and sea­son­ing. Spoon over mince then bake for 40 min­utes or un­til cooked with a golden crust.
