Setting the right example
The article on bullying (‘How to beat the bullies’, September 6) brought back some disturbing memories as I too was teased and bullied by senior kids when I was in school.
I wonder where kids get this mean streak from? Should parents be held responsible for this behaviour? I think so. It is important that parents and teachers set high standards as far as social behaviour is concerned and let the kids know that they will be punished if they cross the line.
