HER SIG­NA­TURE LOOK

Thirty-one-year-old UNICEF am­bas­sador and for­mer Miss World, Priyanka keeps her make-up fresh and clean, em­pha­sis­ing her beau­ti­ful eyes and spec­tac­u­lar fea­tures. How­ever, the stun­ning Bol­ly­wood star is best known for her lus­cious, long ma­hogany locks, which look im­mac­u­late whether she’s help­ing raise aware­ness for her char­ity on the red car­pet, or help­ing un­der­priv­i­leged chil­dren in the poor­est parts of the world.

BROWS

Priyanka has high-arched brows. To copy her so­phis­ti­cated look, find where your nat­u­ral arch should be by hold­ing a pen­cil from the cor­ner of your nose, pass­ing by the cen­tre of your pupil, and where the pen­cil ex­tends and hits your brow, that’s where the arch should be. To fill out sparse brows, us­ing a brow pen­cil close to your nat­u­ral brow tone, gen­tly draw from the in­ner cor­ner where the hairs start us­ing short, light strokes up un­til the arch, then con­tinue gen­tly out­wards to the outer edge of the eye to darken and de­fine.

SKIN­CARE

Priyanka is blessed with great skin, but she doesn’t be­lieve in com­pli­cated regimes when it comes to keep­ing young and beau­ti­ful. “Moisturise! And when you’re con­fused about what to do… just keep it sim­ple,” she says.

COM­PLEX­ION

To cheat your way to flaw­less skin like Priyanka’s, fol­low her make-up artist Ra­jesh Patil by first us­ing a primer, fol­lowed by a mat­ti­fy­ing com­pact foun­da­tion to keep skin shine-free. Fin­ish with a colour-cor­rect­ing con­cealer un­der the eyes to cover any dark cir­cles and lines. Priyanka then plays up her full cheeks with a peachy-toned blush. To copy her look, dab on a cream blush with your finger or a damp sponge on the ap­ples of the cheek blend­ing up and out­wards to­wards the cheek­bone.

EYES

A crea­ture of habit, Priyanka sticks to the same eye-make-up rou­tine when she’s off duty. First, line eyes with a metal­lic brown eye­liner pen­cil on the top lash line, smudged into a black kohl pen­cil line, blend­ing up­wards to­wards the crease. Use a gel liner along the wa­ter­line (the in­ner line of the bot­tom eye­lid) to add def­i­ni­tion, fin­ished with a few coats of false-lash-effect mas­cara.

LIPS

The for­mer Miss World boasts amaz­ing, bee-stung lips, and lines them with a spicy-coloured pen­cil be­fore fill­ing them in with a ma­roon-toned lip tint or balm to keep them look­ing full and soft with just a hint of colour.

HAIR

a pump of vo­lu­mis­ing mousse to freshly washed hair. Sec­tion hair into 5cm widths and blow-dry on a medium heat us­ing a large, round brush to create vol­ume, en­sur­ing your dryer points down­wards to keep 2Once the hair fol­li­cles smooth.

hair is cooled, open up the rollers and flip your head up­side-down to add ex­tra vol­ume and bounce. Gen­tly comb 4Spritz fin­gers through the hair, and flip your head back.

BODY

The Bol­ly­wood beauty doesn’t fol­low a strict diet but makes healthy op­tions and works out at the gym with a per­sonal trainer four times a week for an hour at a time to main­tain her al­ready lean frame.

As far as diet goes, Priyanka steers clear of any­thing oily and pro­cessed. “I avoid any kind of heavy meals,” she says. “In­stead, I thrive on healthy snacks. In my case, baked, steamed and stewed stuff has edged-out deep-fried del­i­ca­cies. I love raw veg­eta­bles, es­pe­cially fresh car­rots. I also don’t eat cheese or but­ter, but high-fi­bre food­stuffs work for me. I be­lieve that if you eat right, you feel right.
