Thirty-one-year-old UNICEF ambassador and former Miss World, Priyanka keeps her make-up fresh and clean, emphasising her beautiful eyes and spectacular features. However, the stunning Bollywood star is best known for her luscious, long mahogany locks, which look immaculate whether she’s helping raise awareness for her charity on the red carpet, or helping underprivileged children in the poorest parts of the world.

Priyanka has high-arched brows. To copy her sophisticated look, find where your natural arch should be by holding a pencil from the corner of your nose, passing by the centre of your pupil, and where the pencil extends and hits your brow, that’s where the arch should be. To fill out sparse brows, using a brow pencil close to your natural brow tone, gently draw from the inner corner where the hairs start using short, light strokes up until the arch, then continue gently outwards to the outer edge of the eye to darken and define.

PRIYANKA’S HAIRSTYLIST PRIYANKA BORKAR SAYS “Priyanka is one of the lucky few who have great quality and thickness of hair. For added shine and softness, I like to use a good-quality hairspray.”

Priyanka is blessed with great skin, but she doesn’t believe in complicated regimes when it comes to keeping young and beautiful. “Moisturise! And when you’re confused about what to do… just keep it simple,” she says.

To cheat your way to flawless skin like Priyanka’s, follow her make-up artist Rajesh Patil by first using a primer, followed by a mattifying compact foundation to keep skin shine-free. Finish with a colour-correcting concealer under the eyes to cover any dark circles and lines. Priyanka then plays up her full cheeks with a peachy-toned blush. To copy her look, dab on a cream blush with your finger or a damp sponge on the apples of the cheek blending up and outwards towards the cheekbone.

A creature of habit, Priyanka sticks to the same eye-make-up routine when she’s off duty. First, line eyes with a metallic brown eyeliner pencil on the top lash line, smudged into a black kohl pencil line, blending upwards towards the crease. Use a gel liner along the waterline (the inner line of the bottom eyelid) to add definition, finished with a few coats of false-lash-effect mascara.

The former Miss World boasts amazing, bee-stung lips, and lines them with a spicy-coloured pencil before filling them in with a maroon-toned lip tint or balm to keep them looking full and soft with just a hint of colour.

“Highlight your assets. If it’s your eyes then applying kajal and a little liner works best. For your cheekbones, the right blush will do the trick. It’s important for one to know the colours that complement

you and what your best features are.”

Pinch Priyanka’s signature glossy and glam style by following these simple steps from her stylist, Priyanka 1Apply Borkar:

a pump of volumising mousse to freshly washed hair. Section hair into 5cm widths and blow-dry on a medium heat using a large, round brush to create volume, ensuring your dryer points downwards to keep 2Once the hair follicles smooth.

the hair is dry, section again and wrap around heated rollers (inwards) rolling up to the scalp.

hair is cooled, open up the rollers and flip your head upside-down to add extra volume and bounce. Gently comb 4Spritz fingers through the hair, and flip your head back.

with hairspray, concentrating at the bottom of the hair and the waves. Backcomb at the root for a little extra body

The Bollywood beauty doesn’t follow a strict diet but makes healthy options and works out at the gym with a personal trainer four times a week for an hour at a time to maintain her already lean frame.

As far as diet goes, Priyanka steers clear of anything oily and processed. “I avoid any kind of heavy meals,” she says. “Instead, I thrive on healthy snacks. In my case, baked, steamed and stewed stuff has edged-out deep-fried delicacies. I love raw vegetables, especially fresh carrots. I also don’t eat cheese or butter, but high-fibre foodstuffs work for me. I believe that if you eat right, you feel right.
