Rice with sausages

Cook­ing time: 40 mins In­gre­di­ents 3 tbsp oil 2 onions, sliced 2 gar­lic cloves, sliced 1-2 green chill­ies, sliced 1 tsp garam masala pow­der or any pow­dered spice mix pa­prika rice tinned peeled, chopped toma­toes tinned or­ganic chicken stock chicken or beef sausages, sautéed and chopped chopped pars­ley 1 tsp 3 cups 800g 625ml 6

4 tbsp Method 1. In a large pan, heat oil and fry onions, gar­lic and green chill­ies for 2-3 min­utes or un­til soft. Add all spices and stir in rice un­til well com­bined. Add tinned toma­toes and stock. Stir well. Re­duce heat and sim­mer for 15-20 min­utes with pan half cov­ered un­til rice is al­most cooked and liq­uid is re­duced. Add sausages and con­tinue to cook for 10 min­utes or un­til rice and sausages are done. Sprin­kle with pars­ley and sea­son. Serve with fresh steamed veg­eta­bles.
