Rice with sausages

Cooking time: 40 mins Ingredients 3 tbsp oil 2 onions, sliced 2 garlic cloves, sliced 1-2 green chillies, sliced 1 tsp garam masala powder or any powdered spice mix paprika rice tinned peeled, chopped tomatoes tinned organic chicken stock chicken or beef sausages, sautéed and chopped chopped parsley 1 tsp 3 cups 800g 625ml 6
4 tbsp Method 1. In a large pan, heat oil and fry onions, garlic and green chillies for 2-3 minutes or until soft. Add all spices and stir in rice until well combined. Add tinned tomatoes and stock. Stir well. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes with pan half covered until rice is almost cooked and liquid is reduced. Add sausages and continue to cook for 10 minutes or until rice and sausages are done. Sprinkle with parsley and season. Serve with fresh steamed vegetables.
