Chocolate- chip cookies

Baking time: 10-12 mins Ingredients 80g butter 120g sugar 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 egg 130g flour 1 1/2 tsp salt pinch bicarbonate of soda 80g dark chocolate chips Method 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line and grease a baking sheet. 2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and egg and mix. Sift dry ingredients together twice before adding to wet ingredients. Mix to form a soft dough, then fold in chocolate chips. Roll dough into 20 balls, place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Cool cookies on a wire rack then serve.
