After Christmas, I’m usually left with half a bowl of nuts and some satsumas that no one wants to eat. What can I make with them?

Friday - - Leisure -

Why not make a quick jam from the satsumas? You don’t need a complicated recipe – you can just simmer the chopped fruit with sugar until reduced to a jam-like consistency.

For leftover nuts you could make tasty snacks. Discard the shells and crush the nuts coarsely before roasting them with a little sea salt. You could even add a pinch of paprika for a spicy twist. See them disappear the next time you have a party!
