Avocado and sumac dip
Prep time: 15 mins Serves 4
2 ripe avocados, peeled and cubed 1 small lemon, juice of 3 tbsp olive oil 4 tbsp tahini 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp crushed or ground sumac 3 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
1 Blitz the avocado and lemon juice together in a food processor until smooth, or mash together with a fork.
2 Add olive oil, tahini, cinnamon, cumin, sumac and garlic and mix together until it’s the consistency of mayonnaise. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and serve with pitta bread.
