Lounges kids will love
Check-in, passport control and even security are always exciting as it means that, finally, I’m off on my travels. But I hate the chaos of the airport and never go dutyfree shopping, preferring to start my vacation off in real style in a lounge – and there are none better than Emirates’ lounges. As well as free WiFi, there’s a buffet to keep the little ones as well as adults happy, and a children’s play area, as well as Ezone, with PS3s and a driving simulator. Emirates has even developed its own collection of soft toys to keep kids busy – my little girl loved dressing her mouse in furry gloves, hat and booties, and took it everywhere with her during our holiday. She was even spoilt for choice on the plane with her own goody bag and special meal.
Emirates has three first-class and three business-class lounges at Dubai’s Terminal 3. Its serves first-class and business-class customers as well as Platinum and Gold members of Skywards, its frequent-flyer programme.
