FOR THE BURGER

1kg minced beef 1-2 car­rots, peeled and grated 1 onion, chopped 1 cel­ery stalk, finely chopped 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh pars­ley 2 slices white bread 4 tbsp milk 2 eggs 3 tbsp Worces­ter sauce 4 tsp olive oil 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

TO SERVE

8 bread rolls, halved, toasted and spread may­on­naise or other sauce of your choice, let­tuce and sliced ripe toma­toes

METHOD

1 In a large bowl, mix to­gether all the in­gre­di­ents, sea­son, then form into pat­ties. Chill for 10 mins.

2 Pre­heat a grill and cook the pat­ties to de­sired rareness.

3 Serve in bread rolls with let­tuce and toma­toes.
