Honey and vanilla glazed pears with mas­car­pone cream

the bar­be­cue to high. Place the halved pears cut side up on a tray. Place the honey and vanilla seeds in a small bowl and mix to­gether well. Brush the pears with the honey and vanilla mix. 2Place

the pears cut side down on to the hot bar­be­cue and cook for 2 mins, al­low­ing them to caramelise. Turn the heat down and con­tinue cook­ing for a fur­ther 8 mins. (I like the pears to be still crunchy on the in­side but if you like them slightly softer then cook for a bit longer.) 3Mean­while,

whip the mas­car­pone. Serve pears with mas­car­pone and toasted mixed nuts.
