KIDS TRAVELLING?

Friday - - Making A Difference -

If you would like to know more about the fight against malaria, visit www.malarianomore.org. uk where you can see a short film in which narrator Jo shares her story, Making Malaria

No More.

If your children are going to travel, take a look at Jo’s list of precautions you should take:

Do their packing because they won’t take the right things!

Make sure they visit the doctor well in advance of travelling and they understand the risks of any tropical disease, because if they understand the risks they can protect themselves.

Ensure they take the full course of malaria tablets and incountry preventative measures as instructed by their physician.

Don’t buy cheap anti-malaria tablets, get a proper prescription.

If they return with flu-like symptoms don’t hesitate to take your children to hospital and ask for them to be tested for malaria.
